For S.I.M.W I did extensive research on various colleges like Millers Ville, PAFA, Tyler School of Art (T.S.A), West Chester, Edinboro etc.. In addition to doing the research for schools I emailed two people from Tyler's admission office and one person from West Chester University (W.C.U). And my final piece of my project for S.I.M.W was a short two paragraph explaining my perspective on the process of this project.

The series of images below are pieces I have done based on the portfolio requirements for W.C.U and T.S.A. The first image is a live study of my Zip It, a pen, and a pencil sharpener.

My process broken down
After finishing project one I chose the topic "searching for colleges" because finding schools to apply to has been something I have been working on already so I thought it would be helpful to turn it into a project. To plan this project I broke it down into a few steps:
Step 1-general research about several schools
Step 2- deep diving into two schools I am interested in
Step 3- contacting admissions offices, alumni, or students to answer questions
Step 4- Determine portfolio requirements for each school

How did things change?
When I first began my project I initially thought I would create a painting that illustrates a change or transition from my perspective. This idea came from associating looking/going to college with a major change. However after a few meeting with Mr. Grandi we talked through some ideas and I decided creating a few pieces based on W.C.U and TUA's portfolio requirements would be a better way to represent perspective by illustrating some things that a possible art student would submit.
